Theatre for the Ears: New Playwrights Reading Series
As part of our developmental programming Studio Porte Bleue presented our Theatre for the Ears: New Playwrights Reading Series. The series will be comprised of the work of new playwrights working out of Montreal and also read by local actors. The series gives spectators the opportunity to engage with budding Canadian playwrights as well as be a part of delivering feedback that is instrumental for the development of any growing artist. This experience will expose our patrons to up and coming artists and will allow them the opportunity to engage on a creative and critical level through a formal and informal talk back after the reading. Along with the play readings we will be exhibiting and selling the photography of Nina Haigh, displaying a series of urban landscapes and auroras that are both stunning and technically impressive. Come on out and support the development of local artists!
